So Much has Changed...

I do not even know how to begin this Blog.  So much has changed over the last few years; heartbreaking to say the least.  Maybe one day soon, I will find the strength to write again.  Until then, friend, be encouraged.  In the midst of our tears and brokenness, the Lord, our God, is still with us..working out His Master Plan in our lives. Amen.

The Beauty of Holiness

Just to know Jesus in the beauty of holiness is where I am at today.  There is so much going wrong in my life but today, I choose to focus on what is going right: Jesus.  He is so holy and precious; his holiness draws me to him and not away in shame or embarrassment.  I know in his presence I become like him.  He takes my brokenness and puts me back together again.  He accepts me completely.  He loves me despite my lack of holiness.  He is my Savior who is thrilled when I draw near to him and not run away.  I love you Lord and thank you for your great love for me, pulling me deeper into your healing power.  Amen

Spring!

Winter was tough in North Jersey this year...ugh!  It seemed relentless.  Almost every week, inches and inches of snow was falling.  Thanks be to God, however, Spring is right around the corner.   The weather reminds me of these verses out of Song of Songs:
"See! The winter is past;
 the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
    the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
    is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
    the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
    my beautiful one, come with me.”
Those words "arise, come, my darling" are beautiful to my soul.  He knows how certain seasons of our lives can drag us down, leaving us drained and feeling useless.  Some of us find ourselves in the pit of life!  But His Love beckons us to His Heart.  Do you hear Him calling you out of the darkness and the cold? Let us reflect on Psalm 27:8:
"My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.”    And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”
Our God delights in communicating with us.  Let us never shut His Voice out, rather, let us invite Him into our hearts..even now. Amen!

YOU ARE GREATER THAN THE WORST PART OF YOU!

I pray we would all understand and believe this to the very core of our being.  We will always have problems but they are not our identity.

It is only what Jesus says about us that counts.

Merry Christmas!!

I am totally excited for another Christmas with my friends and family.  God has truly been good to us for another year!  There have been tons of mountains and valleys to conquer, some of which I thought we would never surpass.  There were days that left me weeping in total desperation to a God I felt had abandoned me and my family.  Of course, each and every time, He proved that He never left our side.  I do not know where you stand in your life right now but I pray you know that the Lord is on your side.  Merry Christmas!!!  Rejoice in the gift of salvation!!

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9

First Day of Fall

Seasons

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
