God Desires to Talk with Us

Psalm 27:7

My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with me."  And my heart responds, "Lord, I am coming."

This is one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible.  It shows the heart of our Father.  He truly cares about 

each and every one of us.  When things overwhelm my heart, I can feel His sweet Spirit pulling me to talk to Him.  God cares for us.  He cares about every single thing that affects us.  He wants us to talk with Him so that He can bring clarity to our minds.  He is infinitely wise, therefore He knows everything about anything.  There is nothing unknown to God.  This is why He beckons us to talk with Him.

If you're heart is heavy or burdened today, go and talk to God.  Just talk to Him like you would talk to a regular person.  The Bible tells us to come BOLDLY to the Throne of Grace.  This means we do not have to kill bulls or shed innocent blood of animals to approach God.  The work was finished by our Precious Lord Jesus Christ so that we may simply go to God. 

Tell Him all about your troubles.  Ask Him where is He in all of this stuff.  He will answer and He will show you where He is.  He is a very present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1).
