I think that if the Lord could give us a dozen roses today, he would. Not just for the beauty of the rose, wow, but for the symbolization of the number 12. It denotes governmental perfection. I read this on the web. We know from the bible that there are 12 tribes of Israel listed, 12 apostles, 12 foundations in heavenly Jerusalem, 12 pearls, 12 gates, 12 angels..12 months in a year, completing four seasons, and there are 12 members of a jury (not to get off track..but interesting aint it?)

Twelve is also the product of 3 times 4. Three is divine perfection and four is the number of the world and creation. We could go on and on. Numerology is very interesting. But the best is that the measurements of New Jersusalem (in Heaven) is 12,000 stadia with the wall being 144 cubits..or 12 x 12..Rev 21 talks about these measurements that make up the City of God. Who is the City of God? The Bride of Christ. Us!

So what does this have to do with our diet girls???? God's governmental perfection-symbolized in the number 12- is over our lives, our bodies, and all that pertains to us. We just have to receive it as truth and call on His power.

God, be strong in our lives today. We are preparing our bodies for the wedding feast of the lamb. We may stumble all the way there, but we are on our way, Lord. We ARE your Bride, Jesus. Strengthen us moment by moment and meal by meal. Don't let us lose hope. Be the Light beneath our feet and the Wind beneath our wings. Lord, don't let us fail. Let us be victorious, in You. Amen.
