I love that our church has dedicated this week to prayer. Things happen when the Body of Christ gathers together to seek God's face. I love how the Holy Spirit weaves hearts together to seek God with singleness of mind. There were so many people praying and lifting up each other's needs tonight..it was like a thunderous cry to God.
I was thinking that we could unify our hearts in prayer today. Many in our group made it through day one pretty good, and we praise God for that! But there are some that struggled with one thing or another. We know that there will be adversity anytime we seek to advance the Kingdom of God. We are the Kingdom of God. Taking care of these temples will take time, patience, perseverance, and a tenacious spirit to make it to the finish line.
I know we have our prayer partners, but let's remember our biblical health coaches as well. Lord, we ask you to cover them with the Power of Your Blood. We come against every device from hell that would seek to destroy them and the vision you gave to them. Father, we lift them up, as well as our entire group, and we speak the victory of Jesus over all of us. Jesus, you said, "It is finished." We rest in the finished work of the Cross, especially during difficult times. Amen.
