Today is "Sanctity of Life" Sunday
"For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb.." (Psalm 139)
"Father, we dedicate this day and this devotional to the millions upon millions of aborted children. Father, we ask you to forgive this great sin in your eyes.
Lord, we ask for healing to come to all of the women that are now suffering as the result of their abortion. Abortion brings pain, loss, and guilt too profound to explain. There is an ache within the heart that can only be filled by Your love.
Lord, you alone can heal. You have the power to go deep within the souls of hurting women and heal the loss. I pray that there would be a radical restoration to women and men's hearts all across this earth today. I included the men, because many wanted their child, but the mother did not. So heal these men, Lord, heal them as well. Send your comfort today.
Father, protect the innocent babies that are in uncertain wombs even now. Lord, we speak life and love over them. YOUR life and YOUR love. May you go to that mother that may be having thoughts about the life of her child and give her HOPE. Give her courage. And give her love for her child. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
